Traveling to Decatur AL for games with his travel team.
Saturday games:
Game #1: Loss 0-9. Not good, but it happens.
Game #2: Loss 4-6. Still a loss, but the score is okay. JJ scored one goal and played really good in this game! He told me one time that when he doesn't play well, whether it's hockey, basketball, or some other sport, he gets intimidated, angry and pumped up! So, I guess he got his game on when they lost so bad in the first game! Good for you, JJ!
Sunday games:
Game #3: Loss against the Flyers 0-5. There were 3 penalties in this game, but JJ wasn't one of them...this time.
Game #4: Loss against Pelham 1-7. There were 4 penalties in this game. JJ didn't get a penalty in this game either (or he just wasn't caught...huh?).
The weekend could have gone better, but this travel team league seems to be more challenging. JJ is sure getting workouts!
We're proud of you, JJ. Go, Memphis Blues!
