3/20/10 Trophy Time!

The end of his ice hockey season. He received trophies for both the Mites and the Squirts teams. We're so proud of you, JJ! You had a great season!

2/21/10 game

JJ played two games today, playing the Predators (win 4-3) and the Red Wings.

JJ traveled to Huntsville, Alabama to participate in the Freedom Hockey Tournament! He played great and we're so proud of him. His team was called the Memphis Kings (Mite B division). Out of the 4 games they played, JJ scored a total of 7 goals with a lot of assists. In game 2 on Saturday, he scored the first 3 goals, so he had a "natural hat trick"!! Yay, JJ!!!

Game 1 against Huntsville: Win 5-1
Game 2 against Jr Mudbugs: Win 6-3
Game 3 against Duluth: Win 8-1
Game 4 against Duluth: Win 8-0 (This was to see who would go to the championship game.)

On Monday, they had the championship game. It was JJ's team against Huntsville. His team lost; the score was 3-0. Even though they didn't win, they played great and they were the talk of the tournament! JJ is an excellent ice hockey player.

Great job, JJ! We're very proud of you!
